The lodge is located 240 kms from Nairobi, approximately 5 hours on tarmac and all weather murram road, situated outside the park. Flying is one hour to the nearest airstrip which is 30 minutes drive to the lodge.
There are a total of 50 traditional round buildings with thatched roofs, each with 2 rooms. There is also a honeymoon suite located on top of the property offering an uninterrupteds view of the Oloongama hills
The dining area has a centrally located fireplace with an extremely high chimney. Its walls are painted with pastel colours to match those of the simply exquisite, natural-stone framed paintings of everyday Maasai life, and its separated, generously sized buffet tables offer garden fresh salads; succulent main courses; live cooking areas; an extravagant choice of desserts; and a wide selection of cheeses.
