5 Days Aberdares, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Kenya Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park, Kenya

Leave Nairobi in the morning for Aberdare National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the Treetops Lodge. 

Treetops Lodge is famous as the place where the then-Princess Elizabeth woke up on the morning of 6th February 1952 to find her father King George VI had died and she was proclaimed the Queen of the United Kingdom. Treetops Lodge’s water hole and salt lick attract elephants, buffalos, black rhinoceros, bush duikers, giant forest hogs, civet cats and baboons.

Afternoon and evening us spent game viewing from the comfortable lounge areas or from the balconies of our rooms. A ground level bunker provides opportunities to get closer to wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at The Treetops.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya

After breakfast, we leave Aberdare National Park and drive via the Thomson’s Falls where we will make a short stop to marvel at Kenya's second highest waterfall before proceeding to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at your pre-booked Safari Camp/Lodge. Afternoon game drive and a nature walk along Lake Nakuru's shore. Dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its birdlife, black rhinoceros, white rhinoceros and Rothschild Giraffes among other animals.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

After breakfast drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your Camp/Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Masai Mara in search of giraffes, wildebeests, buffalos, hyenas, elephants, silver-backed jackals, warthogs, topis, crocodiles, hartebeests, hippopotamus and different species of birds. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

After breakfast, we depart for full day exploration of the Masai Mara with picnic lunch. Masai Mara is famous for its exceptional population of the big cats (lions, leopards & cheetahs) and the annual migration of wildebeests. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi, Kenya

After breakfast we depart for a final game drive in the Masai Mara before driving back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
