Full Day Nairobi City Excursion

After an early breakfast drive to Nairobi National Park for game viewing which will last you four and a half (4.5 hrs). Exit the Park and drive to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust at 11.00 am. After lunch at a restaurant at the Galleria Mall we drive to the Giraffe Center where we will spend an hour and a half with Rothschild Giraffes. From the Giraffe Center we drive to the Karen Blixen Museum where we will spend an hour and a half before heading on to the Carnivore Restaurant for dinner before transfer back to your hotel for overnight.

Nairobi City Walking Tour 

The Nairobi City Walking Tour covers the modern city center the colorful Nairobi City Market, Parliament Buildings, Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) - the landmark of Nairobi, The August 7th Memorial Park*, National Archives of Kenya, Nairobi Snake Park and the renowned National Museum of Kenya which houses some of the most celebrated collections of history, culture and art from Kenya and East Africa.

Nairobi National Park Day Trip

This unique wildlife sanctuary is just a few kilometres from Nairobi's bustling city center but despite its proximity over 50 species of mammals can be found there including four of the Big five, As an option, you can visit the animal orphanage where wounded or orphaned animals are nurtured back to health . The tour returns to the city center by sundown.

Karen Blixen / Giraffe Centre Excursion

Nairobi Giraffe Center is only 15kms from the City and was founded in 1978 to save the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. This is the only place where you can go as near as feeding the Giraffe from your palm. On the adjacent is Karen Blixen Museum, the farm house where the Author of the book “Out of Africa” lived. It is also the same place where the famous movie “Out of Africa” was shot.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Tour

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was founded and is still managed by Daphne Sheldrick, the widow of the best known Game Warden, David Sheldrick. The young calves which are orphaned by poaching from various Parks are brought here and nursed until they are believed to be out of danger then released back to various parks to rejoin their colleagues. The visit is done during the feeding hours which fall between 10:30am to noon every day.

Full Day Tour - Nairobi National Park/Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant/Bomas of Kenya

Leave the hotel in the morning for a Safari Game Drive in Nairobi National Park to see different wild animals including 4 of the "Big Five" - Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. Lunch will be provided at the Carnivore Restaurant, afterwards join traditional dancers at the Bomas of Kenya for the rest of the afternoon.
